With their energy and contemporary vision, Simone Locarni and Gianluca Palazzo demonstrate how the new generation of Italian musicians knows how to combine technique, inspiration and originality. Between original pieces, reinterpretations and ample improvisational spaces, their concert is an opportunity to enjoy the synergy and interplay of two of the most awarded and appreciated talents of Italian jazz.
Originally from Lake Maggiore, Simone Locarni trained with Ramberto Ciammarughi, Franco D’Andrea and Umberto Petrin. Since 2026 he has been performing both in Italy and abroad, collaborating with Fabrizio Bosso, Hector Costita, Yuri Goloubev, Asaf Sirkis, Mark Lockheart, Javier Girotto, Tino Tracanna and others. Gianluca Palazzo has both classical and jazz training behind him. He has played with artists such as Uri Caine, Dado Moroni, Andy Sheppard, Max Ionata, Furio Di Castri and Bebo Ferra.
